Since I began in the financial services business in 1981, every position I’ve held has had a significant speaking component within it. During the 1980s, I conducted over 150 adult education classes and money management seminars on financial planning, as well as numerous training sessions for the representatives I hired. It was also during this time frame where I enjoyed one year of teaching at Purdue University in their nationally-acclaimed Financial Planning Department.
